Team BLUE consists of four groups: Kids, high school and university students, and professionals, going beyond generations to tell what is the rhythmic gymnastics. The team is organised by BLUE TOKYO, and the other three male rhythmic gymnastics teams from Aomori as follow.
Male Rhythmic Gymnastic team in Aomori University
The club has been established in 2002. They are a consecutive winning team, which have won the group category at the intercollegiate championship and also won at the All-Japan National Championship nine times in total.
Male Rhythmic Gymnastics Club at Aomori Yamada High School
The club has begun as a society of the gymnastics club of the school in 1967 and was allocated as a rhythmic gymnastic team with appointment of Sir Yusuke Osaka. It has won twenty seven times at national group championships and fifteen times at the individual competitions for the past thirty years.
Blue Tokyo Kid's
A kid team of the male rhythmic gymnastics has been started since 2011 concerning their theme “Children power encourages Aomori!” They won the group category at Aomori Junior championship in 2013, only two years after established.
AKIKO (Ueno, Akiko)
Akiko Ueno is the Representative Director of Last Train Getter Inc. Her responsibilities are an event director, producer and representative director. She also performs at events and teach dance at studios.
Stage “BLUE”: Original Show of the Male Rhythmic Gymnasitcs
The above teams, including BLUE TOKYO, have participated in stages called “BLUE” at Aomori in February every year
